YES, YOU CAN AFFORD CAMP!
We want to make a Jewish camping experience accessible and available to as many families as possible. In addition to our own Camp YJ scholarship program, our campers receive support from the Foundation for Jewish Camp through the One Happy Camper program (www.onehappycamper.org) and PJ Goes to Camp program (pjlibrary.org), as well as support from numerous federations, organizations and temples. WELCOME TO YJ GRANT
When you register your child for a 3.5 week session for the first time at YJ, you will be awarded a $250 welcome grant. Sign up for the full 7 week session and you will receive a $500 welcome grant!
SIBLING DISCOUNT
You can qualify for a sibling discount of $200 per child. Here's how it works:
If one camper is enrolled in camp, subsequent siblings each receive a $200 discount unless a different Camp YJ discount applies. For example, if a second or third camper is new to YJ, they will instead receive a new-camper discount of $250 per session. After that first year, they will then qualify for the $200 sibling discount.
ONE HAPPY CAMPER
To encourage attendance at Jewish overnight summer camps, the Foundation for Jewish Camp partners with individual federations throughout the country to provide incentive grants for a first-time experience at an overnight Jewish camp. These grants range from $500 to $1000, depending on your local federation. To see if you qualify, please check out https://jewishcamp.org/one-happy-camper.
SCHOLARSHIP & FINANCIAL AID

REFERRAL FEE
We provide a $250 referral fee to current camp families who help us spread the word and sign up new campers who are not family members and have not been previously affiliated with our camp. Referral fees are paid after the new camper has completed their session.
